Our history
The hotel was born from a family history marked by a passion for service. We are the third generation of Italian immigrants who dreamed of connecting with their homeland through travelers. The hotel was always the grandparents' home, where Sunday lunches were shared and the tasks of the trade were taken for granted. In its early days, the place had a classic Spanish style and a structure typical of the 1970s, where luxury and stars defined prestige.
In the 1980s, a renovation process began, and the hotel was recategorized to 4 stars. In the following decade, a new generation brought a different perspective, influenced by new global trends, understanding that the key was no longer luxury, but authenticity.
The concept of authenticity was developed by incorporating gastronomy as a new focus at the hotel. Through the Verolio restaurant, the aim was to offer visitors a comprehensive experience that paid homage to olive oil as an emblem of the region.
In 2020, for the first time in 52 years, the hotel closed its doors due to COVID. True hospitality lay in warmth and simplicity.
The hotel continues to evolve with a fresh and flexible approach. Because projects—like people—breathe, transform, and grow at the pace of those who lead them.
